Albi

Hello, this is me, Albi. I’m a white, albino calf. My breed is Dexter mixed with Highland. Dexter are a very small breed of cow and Highland are a very hairy kind. So, I’m small and have a lot of hair.

I was born in a barn in a farm in Salisbury, near the great Stonehenge, which you may have heard of. When I was a very young calf I was very unsure of myself. All the other calves seemed so much more worldly and cleverer than me. But through what happened to me, which I hope you will read about if you get your hands on the book about me, you will see that I find that I was always much bigger than I thought. One of the things I realised by the end of my journey is that one of the greatest things to have inside you is kindness. It’s a super power. And even when I was tiny, I always had the kindness super power.
